BLS Initial Course
This course is designed for first-time learners and learners whose initial certification has been expired longer than 90 days. This is a full IN-PERSON course.
This instructor-led course provides the foundational knowledge and hands-on skills required to respond effectively to cardiac, breathing, and airway emergencies in adults, children, and infants.
Participants will learn how to perform high-quality CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), deliver effective ventilations with barrier devices and bag-mask systems, and work efficiently as part of a resuscitation team. Emphasis is placed on early recognition of life-threatening emergencies, proper technique, and clear communication in both in-facility and out-of-hospital settings.
